MEET YOUR WHISTLER WEDDING PLANNERS

Whistler-based planners. Obsessively organized. Calm under pressure. Here to make your wedding feel easy, intentional, and fun.

Hi, I’m Kathryn

Principal Planner

I didn’t originally set out to become a wedding planner. When I moved to Whistler in 2016 from a marketing career, my plan was to take a break from agency life and spend some time in the mountains while figuring out my next chapter.

What I found instead was an unexpected career in events. I joined Bliss Event and immediately fell in love with the precision and artistry of luxury wedding planning. From there, I became the Events Manager at Nita Lake Lodge, where I coordinated over 70 weddings each year and built deep relationships with Whistler's entire wedding community, from venue managers to florists to every rental company in the Sea-to-Sky corridor.

In 2024, I launched Kathryn Grayston Weddings to bring the same level of expertise and meticulous attention to detail.

We’ll guide you through decisions with honest feedback and practical solutions. If something won't work logistically, we’ll tell you and offer three alternatives that will. You'll never wonder where you stand or what's happening next.

WHY WHISTLER

Whistler isn't just where we work. It's our home.

We chose this mountain town because of the dramatic landscapes, the incredible hospitality community, and the unique energy that comes with planning celebrations in one of the world's most beautiful destinations.

Planning a Whistler wedding requires understanding:

  • How seasonal weather impacts outdoor ceremonies and photo locations

  • Where to find the best mountain backdrops within minutes of your venue

  • Which local vendors are reliable, creative, and easy to work with

This insider knowledge makes all the difference between a good wedding and an unforgettable one.
